Logo Design Process
This 24-page brand guidelines for “Face Plant,” a fictitious snowboard company, is a tribute to snowboarders’ carefree spirit, especially beginners who are prone to falling on the slopes. In my role as a designer, I spearheaded the creation of the brand’s visual identity. The logo features a flower with a friendly smiley face at its center, complete with a bandaid on its head. This playful imagery encapsulates the brand’s lighthearted approach to snowboarding and the occasional tumbles that come with it. Drawing inspiration from the art style and movements of the 1970s, the document design is a colourful and nostalgic journey through that era. These guidelines provide a roadmap for Face Plant, ensuring a consistent and lively brand presence that resonates with snowboarders of all levels, celebrating the thrill of the slopes and the inevitable face plants that come with the territory.
